Lynn's always has the friendliest staff and the most amazing homemade ice cream and Belgian waffles. It is such a unique place and is a must-try for anyone visiting the Inverness area.

I had a serious pregnancy craving for icecream and we just moved to the area so didnt know where to go, tried this place out and wasn't disappointed. Seriously the best I have ever had, the chocolate sauce was to die for and the owners were involved with the customers and even waited on is like we were in a restuarant. We will definitely be back. Amazing service.

Wow! My daughter and I came here for ice cream and it was amazing! The presentation was just as good as the thick and creamy ice cream. We will be back again and again. The waffles looked amazing but we didn't order them. Will definitely get one next time. Keep up the great work and enjoy your vacation.

The waffles here are amazing! I have never had a waffle as light and fluffy and delicious as the one that I had at Lynn's. They are authentic Belgian waffles and are much different then your everyday bisquick variety. They make them from scratch per order. Also the ice cream is homemade. It's very good and Flavorful. They also sell coffee's Lottie's and the espressos. The coffee is really good here to way better than Starbucks. If you're looking for a good place to take a date to show how sophisticated and cultured you are then this is the place for you.

Very good ice cream. A very unique experience. Very nice people and very clean. It is not cheap ice cream as she makes all of it. But very good. Way worth the money.

I so look forward to visiting this place every year! Everything is top quality. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. The waffles are to die for. And the ice cream is divine!

It is literally the only place in a 20-mile radius that's not serving Blue Bell, Hershey's or Twistee Treat. I appreciate a good Dinges & Wafels substitute in Florida. Here's the rundown: Flavor and quality are great, which means you're paying NYC-equivalent prices (which is worth it if you're like me craving *real* food without the preservatives and options beyond rural FL franchises), utensils and decor are quaint and homey, outdoor seating is aesthetically pleasing, and service is what you'd expect in central FL. The seating situation is odd as they tell you where to sit upon ordering, but c'est la vie. Will return when I get ice cream cravings until I snowbird it back up to civilization.

Amazing!! Great service and exceptional quality sweets. Very fresh, unique flavors, and perfect proportions. Wish it was closer to home, but if you are visiting Rainbow river or any of the the springs, it is a great stop.

Great place with homemade ice cream! Only got a cone but it hit the spot! There was only 1 other couple in the place. When we left there we drove by Dairy Queen and the line was out to the street. How disappointing. Support the Mom and Pop shops!

Amazing ice cream, adorable and classy atmosphere. The prices are a little high but that comes with the service of the ice cream it seems. The owner is very sweet and lady like.

What a hidden gem. We asked Lynn for recommendations was very pleased. We drove over 20 miles and it was worth every mile to get there.

Incredible ice cream and the waffles tasted just like the waffles in Brussels. It reminded me of how much I missed Belgium- would highly recommend! Prices were reasonable for the quality and flavors. I will definitely be back next time we visit!

This place is amazing!!! Fresh fruit toppings, delicious ice cream flavor choices, and perfectly crisp waffles. I highly recommend the coffee toffee ice cream with caramel topping.The service was wonderful, very friendly. The atmosphere is really nice, too.

Best ice cream ever, not really. To me this place was kinda Bousie. No samples, reserved tables? No ice cream without waffles, or so the signage led one to believe. Really got the impression that it was more for the decadent than us common folks, that's what it felt like when we walked in. Be prepared to pay around $6 for your 'supreme cream'. Don't bother to take young children, no baby stuff. No wonder they are only open from 5-8pm... that's all they need to make overhead. What a let down from what I heard from others about how great it was...

Delicious ice cream but a little bit pricey

The waffle with one scoop of vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce served on an antique dinner plate beautiful and delicious. My only complaint is the price. Over 8.00 for dessert is a bit over my budget. But I will save up to go again. Decorated well too.

First experience and quite enjoyable! Excellent choice for dessert. I had Kahlua ice cream on Liege waffle and hubby had Rum and Raisin on Liege. Both with a side of real whipped cream. A great experience. We have this on our "must bring our friends" list.

First time and definitely not our last! We stumbled across Lynn's while visiting Music Quest. Both were pleasant experiences and will be revisited. Homemade ice cream and whipped cream are so smooth and lovely!

Can’t recommend Lynn’s ice cream and waffles enough!! Outstanding rum raisin/Belgian cookie ice cream and the liege waffle was so delicious! Great prices for the authentic Belgian treats! Owners were welcoming and treated us very well! Will definitely be back!!

This place is shockingly good. The couple who owns it is from Europe. Your ice cream is really homemade. The smell alone is worth the trip. The service is also excellent. This is not your typical ice cream shop. I saw a few negative reviews and those people must be idiots. You get what you pay for. Even the whip cream is homemade and it’s incredible. I could eat there three times a day. It’s truly amazing. If this place was in New York City, there would be Line a mile long. Even the dishes they use are gorgeous. Very consistent as I am a regular. You go, Lynn.

A hidden treasure for ice cream lovers! Our indulgences included the Belgian chocolate, on the Liege waffle, but the surprise delight was a new flavor - Root Beer. Incredibly delicious ... each spoonful was a little root beer float. Lynn graciously answered our questions and satisfied our "sweet tooth" with her coffee and dessert selections. Worth every penny - what a find!

Pricey, but well worth it! The crepes are amazing! Root beer float was amazing. Very expensive which is the only real drawback. Love the “dive bar, but we sell ice cream instead of booze” atmosphere

Amazing place. The owners are from Belgium so you are getting the real deal. I got a liege waffle (sugar pearls) with double dark chocolate ice cream. Last time I got a Belgian waffle with Kahlua ice cream. Everything has been delicious so far. And the wait staff is helpful and very polite.

There are a lot of positive things to be said about a small business that not only has a deep passion for what they do, but also a consistent quality of product. Lynns is such a place. I've head rumors that some folks complain about pricing...not exactly sure why. In my point of view, why would anyone put a price on quality? This is without a doubt the best ice cream around in our area. Flavor, texture and quantity are right on time after time. That is the type of quality you can expect from Lynns each and every time you come in their door. If you want to indulge in a wonderful treat, this is the right place.
